The association between CBD and hemp often leads to confusion regarding the difference between CBD Oil Products and Hemp products. Often, the two terms are used interchangeably; however, here at Infusd, we understand the importance of distinguishing between these two types of wellness products. 

CBD is a compound that is found exclusively within the Cannabis Sativa species – to which Hemp belongs. Hemp has long been a staple of the skincare industry, thanks to the abundance of nourishing and vital ingredients contained within the plant. Nonetheless, hemp products like Hemp skincare products should not be confused with CBD Oil-based products like our CBD Body Oil.

Hemp extracts are typically extracted from the seeds of the plant. This part of the plant is known to contain very little – if any – CBD. As a result, the final hemp extract also contains only trace amounts of CBD at most. In comparison, CBD oils, such as the CBD Isolate we use in our CBD Body Oil are extracted directly from the CBD-rich flowers and leaves of the plant.
